Communication

"Very good," said Miss Carlman. "Who will name an early means of communication?"

Clayte waved. "Writing, and the pony express."

"Very good," said Miss Carlman. "Who can name some later ones?"

Milt waved. "Telephone, telegraph, tell-a-woman!" he said.

Everyone laughed because this was a good joke, and Miss Amory laughed hardest of all.
