The Power of Conversion

"Paul was consumed with one thing—obliterating the memory of Jesus Christ from society. Any follower of Jesus was fair game for his treachery. Paul is portrayed in Acts 8 as a determined man who went everywhere searching for Christians , obsessed with their destruction. ...

Paul later loved Jesus with the same intensity with which the apostle had earlier tried to destroy Him. Now he viewed other Christians as his brothers and sisters. He saw himself as a member of a vast family of people who loved Christ and sought to serve Him. He spent the remainder of his life helping and encouraging the very people he once terrorized. Such is the power of conversion."
