New Paint Job

I find it humorous to see how God has provided for our needs recently. You'll remember that our van died and our car was crushed by a tree. But when we needed cash to purchase another car, we found that neither our car insurance nor the neighbor's would cover the accident. Instead, the house insurance considered the storm damage to our gutter and garage roof extensive enough to require over $2700 in repairs. After our deductible, that was enough to purchase the 1995 SAAB 900S, a can of house paint, and to pay off a few bills. On top of that — get this — I'm no longer investing money in a rusty car!

The more I think about it, the more clear it becomes. God really does know what is best and he always does what is best. For that I'm thankful.

P.S. The gutter work should be completed soon.

Ya know, Andy, you're family would have really appreciated something with more room---like, say, a 1994 Chevy Suburban? :-)

You are so thoughtful. :)

But going from 30 mpg to 6 mpg would be ... umm ... not very smart.

Hey hey hey, easy there big fella. Let's not pretend like you're a presidential candidate and twist the facts.

It gets 10-12 mpg. :-)
